Nurgle Army: The Lords of Contamination

 Contaminators Nurgle Daemons Hey hey. Well, I'm running out of stuff to add to my chaos space marine army, The Lords of Contamination, so I thought it was time to move on. Instead of working on one of my 6 other armies that are unfinished, I started a new one, Nurgle Daemons. I wanted this army to be big. Daemons should be creatures from our nightmares, and I thought these small withering plaguebearers didn't fit the bill for me. Flipping through the codex I saw that picture of the massive plaguebearers chopping through guardsmen lines, and this gave me my further inspiration to make big plaguebearers. So I went off and bought a box of fantasy ogres. You may have seen the Wip of one in my chaos space marines blog, but here they are so far. Plaguebearer 1 - Done    Plaguebearer 2 - WIP(Hand, which will be a fist I think, and re-do the eye and some general filing)    Plaguebearer 3- Very WIP  Daemon Prince- WIP (started this morning)  So yeah, Thats the start, and the project is comming along slowly but surely. I'm building it in 500 point blocks, the first being 14 plaguebeares, a daemon prince and a herald, and strawberry bitch trying to get a 1500 point army done for this summer as there is a tournament I want to bring them too. So leave a comment, and sugestions are very welcome, and I'll be working on the Daemon prince in the meantime. Cheers!

And yeah, Orminah, a box of ogres here is 50 bucks (for 6) and then theres the cost of greenstuff. I do end up saving on bigger guys like daemon princes and beasts of nurgle, but its going to be a heafty price for the army. I don't mind to much, as I love creating armies that (hopefully) inspire people.
Last night I ran out of greenstuff building the foundation of the maggot part of my daemon prince, so I'm just waiting for my local Gamesworkshop to open so I can get some. I hope to get alot more work on this guy done soon, maybe not to much today as its gaming night here. I'll keep you guys updated as soon as stuff happens though, thanks again!

Re: Contaminators Nurgle Daemons Hey hey. Since my last post I've been working on my daemon prince. It's been a long process, as I had to do the sections one at a time and wait for them to completely dry before moving on, but here it is. From here I have to start the gut of the body, and have the maggot sections fade off into the back. Here's the pics.
