 Scythemania
The scythe is the symbol of death, and the weapon of choice of many champions of Nurgle, so let us honour this grim reaper with a competition... There will be three categories; you may enter each one once, you may enter unfnished/unpainted models, you must show evidence that this work is your own and that it is a new (or recently started) project - do this by posting in corrupt creationsThe deadline for entries is April 30th at 23:59 GMTCategory 1: Best SquadThe entry must be from Codex: Chaos Space Marines, Codex: Chaos Daemons, any of the Renegade army lists from Imperial Armour vols 5 -7, Warhammer Armies: Warriors of Chaos or Warhammer Armies: Daemons of Chaos. All models in the unit must be armed with a scythe. The unit must be 'codex legal'. Category 2: Best CharacterThe entry must be an HQ or Lord choice from Codex: Chaos Space Marines, Codex: Chaos Daemons, any of the Renegade army lists from Imperial Armour vols 5 -7, Warhammer Armies: Warriors of Chaos or Warhammer Armies: Daemons of Chaos. The model must be armed with a scythe Category 3: Best MortarionThe model needs to be a clear representation of the Primarch Mortarion. He may be in Daemon form or 'human' form. Obviously, he must have a scythe. Good luck!

 Re: Scythemania
Er, no. Unless you do some insane conversion. Read the category rules.

 Re: Scythemania
Awesome idea Mab, I enjoyed the NCA but I think this is a much cooler system because it will spark people's inspiration in specific directions and hopefully produce more entries to choose from!

 Re: Scythemania
Or boring peop's like me will just go ahead and finally paint their Typhus fig? Might have to do a little converting first though. Expect my lazy arse to enter this one.

 Re: Scythemania
Dammit...I wish I wasn't so crazy busy with house-buying-and-move stuf right now, or I'd make something for this for sure. The only scythe-armed thing I have is my old Sorceror, who's hardly representative of where my conversions are at nowadays...
