I've been very pleased with the way the Nurgle's Choice Awards have run for the past year and a half.

However, I feel that it is time now to adopt a more traditional approach to competitions.

At present the Nurgle's Apocalypse competition is running till the end of February, and once that is finished the next competition will be announced, my intention being that as each competition ends a new one begins.

hmmm. Well I am always in favour of trying something new!!

Maybe a quarterly NCA? That way we don't abandon the papanurgle tradition (and give me and Phill a chance to win the damn thing!), and there will be more entries. Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter Nurgle Choice awards?

I had an idea for a new competition theme today, which I might as well put here rather than making a new thread. How about a challenge to make a Nurgle character out of any single loyalist miniature (not vehicle) of your choice? There would be loads of scope in this, and people would end up with a cool characterful addition to their army. I had great fun Nurglifying a Techmarine, and it would be cool to have an incentive to pursue another project like that!

Hmmmm, nice idea that Gres...could even make it the SAME model just to see what we all came up with...not posting any WIP pics etc until the finish date when we all post at once...Slightly harder as we would have to see if enough people would be willing to buy it BEFORE we started

Yeah that's an option, although I think it would be cool to just see where people's ideas take them within the whole range, and the results would be more varied. Also it's probably easier for people to just pick up any old model they like on Ebay rather than all try to buy the same one.

So who would be interested, and what rules would apply? One entry per person or as many as we like? Deadline?

OOOOR - we could simply make a Corrupt Creations thread for people to post loyalist conversions? I'm unsure if there will be enough immediate interest to get a comp going - if not then we may as well make a thread with no deadline, winner, or one-model limit, which will hopefully be an ongoing thing and inspire others to create things to show.

The thing is I already have an Ebay model that I've started adapting, so I could get the ball rolling with a 'Corrupt a Loyalist' thread and see what others come up with?
